Zaphod Beeblebrox has two heads, three arms, and no work ethic. He is the part time President of the Galaxy, which might seem like a hard job, but the sad fact of the matter is that he only took the job so that he could set himself up in a position where he could steal the Heart of Gold, which he promptly did as soon as the opportunity arose.
He shares three of the same mothers as Ford Prefect, and somehow manages ot skate through life on looks, charm, and sheer dumb luck.
Zaphod Beeblebrox was recently voted worst-dressed sentient being in the galaxy for the seventh time, and is most famous for inventing the Pan-Galactic Gargle-Blaster, the best drink in the universe, according to the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. He is also credited with having come up with one of the wisest sayings in the Universe, which is: "Never drink more than two Pan-Galactic Gargle-Blasters unless you are a thirty ton mega-elephant with bronchial pneumonia."
The character of Zaphod Beeblebrox was played by Mark Wing-Davey in the TV series, and is played by Sam Rockwell in the 2005 big budget Disney movie, "The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy". |
